My love of fabric and fabric design is something I learned from my mother. This body of work has been a journey of remembering this passion which has been passed down generations.

I enjoy repurposing items from my home, print offcuts and found pieces. It’s a process of taking apart and reassembling, sometimes more than once.

The layering created through this process adds a depth, texture and an element of transparency. Making both sides of the coth visually appealing, This asks the question - Which side is the correct view point or do both sides have a relevant and meaningful purpose and perspective?
